Gamba Vineyards is a small, family owned vineyard and winery in Sonoma County, California. This Zin comes from the Moratto Vineyard, located near old town Windsor in Sonoma County. Originally planted in 1920, the vineyard consists of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. This wine is concentrated and rich with lush tannins. Deep ruby color, the nose exudes cherry chocolate and dark black fruit. This is a provacative zinfandel with good acidity and a smooth finish.
