Our North Coast Pinot Noir offers a symphony of red fruits in the glass, joined by earthy forest floor elements and notes of rose petal, rosemary and sage. A bright entry of red cherry transitions midpalate to charcuterie and cranberry, offering a lovely acid/tannin balance. The late palate displays intriguing notes of quince and lavender, wrapped in a long, spicy finish. Overall, a multi-layered and palate-pleasing rendition of coastal Pinot Noir.
Winemaker Greg La Follette has spent years exploring Pinot Noir vineyards in the outer reaches of California’s North Coast wine region. This inaugural release captures the essence of Pinot Noir grown here: great acidity wrapped around vibrant red fruit tones of berry, cherry and cranberry. North Coast Pinot Noir offers great persistence on the palate without being aggressive or flabby. We get lovely balance and harmony from this fruit without any overripe or astringent tones.
