“2007 was a fantastic year in the Napa Valley and the '07 Igneous is on fire! This isn't a syrupy or in-your-face Cabernet but one that begins with fine aromatics and restrain on the palate. The fruit is classic and a vintage true Cabernet Sauvignon in the glass. The nose begins with bright cherry, light herbs and a surround of barrel vanillin. The palate comes across clean with hard cherry candy, terroir rockiness and excellent backbone and structure that is true to form. This wine isn't pushy but is quick to open up and has a finish that lasts well past a 40 count. This wine is a classic, from a classic Napa vintage.
