2009 Red Mare Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon jumps out of the glass. Cherry dominates with cassis, plum and blackberry compounding to create a full and complex fruit profile. Below the surface, vanilla, caramel and clove are layered. Delicate aromas of oiled leather and pencil shavings deepen the wines aromatic experience. The mouth is luscious and full but driven by a bright acidity that focuses the wine. The tannins are round and soft leading into a lengthy rich and pleasing finish.
