A restaurant/winebar only wine by Vincent Arroyo, this beauty was the pick of the day for reds (or in this case, inky blacks). It jumps out of the glass with brambly, monstrous black fruits, that makes this wine even more intimidating because it shows a nice refreshing backbone of acid - Letting you know that it has the power to blow you away, but won't, because it chooses not to - Boom. Not syrupy or overripe/overdone like some Napa Petite Sirah can certainly become, this is another stunner .Drink this value by the gallon (or buy it by the case for the cellar; 10-15 years easily) before it's gone - Less than 300 cases produced.
