“The 2010 Keever Inspirado shows very open, evolved aromas of dark mocha, fresh rose petal, and spicy lavender, with hints of bright raspberry and dark chocolate. As the wine warms and opens in the glass, deeper notes of vanilla and clove emerge. On the palate, the wine shows bright fresh fruit flavors at entry, dominated by fresh raspberry and bright black cherry. A bit of dark, toasty oak and some warm chocolate notes provide structure to the more ethereal ripe fruit flavors, especially at the finish. The texture is bright and crisp, with a nice balance of sweet fruit and slightly gravelly tannins.” - Celia Welch
