2010 Two Shepherds SM Red Blend

A blend of 50% Russian River Valley Syrah, 50% Mourvedre. Aged in neutral oak for 9 months,  fermented with native yeast. This wine has blossomed into a gem. Unfined, unfiltered, and racked only once, the wine is slightly cloudy, dark red color. The nose is full of black cherry, tea, and blackberry. In the mouth, on tastes dark red and black fruits, vibrant, with noticeable saline and mineral characteristics, that linger pleasantly on the finish. Drink now, or cellar for 1-5 years. 13.8% alcohol.
