2011 Lunar Ridge Syrah Napa Valley (Varietal/Style / Reds / Syrah)

Our 2011 vintage has aromas of violet, plum, cassis, pomegranate and maple syrup. The wine has a core of red fruits, and the French oak adds a nice complexity. On the palate the wine has flavors of cherries, vanilla and brown sugar. The wine has a mature tannin and full and broad texture. The finish is based in fresh plum and strawberry. There’s a good acidity reflecting the cool vintage that helps the finish linger for quite a while. Winery Notes
