This youthful 2011 Griffin drinks like a Pomerol! Aromas and flavors of red cherry and red currant carried by an elegantly weighted mid-palate and perfect balance. The finish is graced with a touch of mocha and espresso and finishes long with very fine gentle tannins. The 2011 Griffin is a blend of 65% elegant and lush Calistoga Merlot, 16% fruity and approachable Syrah, 14% dark and rich Petite Sirah, and 5% soft and expressive Charbono.
