La Encantada - along with Clos Pepe, which he also makes - is one of the top 2 vineyards in Santa Rita Hills AVA. It's a very cool area blanketed in fog. Tyler's vines are always the oldest, over 40 years old. His style is wine that is light to medium bodied with deep, concentrated, red-fruit flavors and very intense, pretty aromatics.
