Winery Notes

Azur's proprietor and winemaker Julien Fayard started this label with his wife Elan in the French style, where Julien began his winemaking journey. Since living in the Napa Valley, Julien consulted with Philippe Melka (of Dana Estate, Vineyard 29, Seavey) on his various winemaking projects and making his own wine Azur. Now he fully concentrates his winemaking efforts on Azur and this '12 Sauvignon Blanc is one of my go-to SBs to enjoy during my time off. Bright with aromatics of citrus notes and mineral notes that linger on the palate, this SB is crisp, dry and delicious.
