I love this wine! It is blended "saignee"-style with
65% Carneros Merlot and 35% Napa Cabernet.
Each was fermented and aged together in stainless steel. This wine is a
beautiful vibrant color with layers of strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry tea,
slight cherry and a nice minerality on the nose. Your palate will be delighted
with layers of cherry, pomegranate tea, strawberry, slight tannin with fresh
acidity and a long finish. Inspired by
mom's rose colored glasses, you will surely enjoy this wine by itself or paired
with stuffed mushroom with goat cheese and toasted bread crumbs, light pasta
dishes, pepperoni pizza, and light spicey dishes. Or simply enjoy each sip
while sitting on the deck with friends and family.
