MV Domaine Carneros Brut Rose Cuvee de la Pompadour

This lovely and serious wine exhibits luscious aromas of blackberry and raspberry with notes of apricot, tangerine and rose petals layered on top. A wine of more weight than normally found in a Rosé, it will grace an entire meal with aplomb. Definitely worth aging if you are willing to wait.  In creating our Rosé we worked to create a wine of great balance using 74% pinot noir and 26% chardonnay, but at the same time, one that emphasizes fruity and floral characteristics to a greater extent than is evident in the Brut or Le Rêve.
